I believe it was at age 8 that I picked up a skateboard tried to ride down a ramp slipped off and hit my head. I had a headache for a week and I never stepped foot back on it again(at least not in real life but I had all the Tony Hawk Playstation Games and I ripped in all if them .) None the less I’ve always had an appreciation for those that could skate well it was some what of a form of live motion art that always enjoyed to watch. You never knew what was going to happen it wasn’t scripted it was pure candid camera moments. So I truly understand how Patrick O’dell found himself infatuated with capturing some of the culture’s greatest moments. Seems like not having a lot of friends paid off for O’dell the camera being his faithful companion lead him to having boxes and boxes of nostalgic skater memories which he recently turned in to a photo exhibition titled “Skateboard High School” . The indie photo exhibit opened up the door for O’dell to finally stand on the other side of the camera for the second installment of the Skate brand Altamont’s “Cut From A Different Cloth Series ” .
