Last week I came across the everybody street documentary on the ignant blog and was inspired to try my hand at taking some of my own shots. If there is anyone else that is testing their hand At this challenge or any other creative challenge I would love see and share . Should be a interesting journey. I hope you guys find it just as interesting .

After its grand opening mixed reviews hit the media about the short novel turned film. Movie critics bashed the Baz Luhrmann anachronistic interpretation of author F. Scott Fitzgerald’s now-classic exploration of the roar of the 1920s. But with Gatsby being one of my favorite reads and the movie being equally as anticipated as an iPhone release I wasn’t going to let a critique from some guys with soggy toupees talk me out going to the theater to see it . So this weekend I set some time away to check it out and I must say that the soggy wigs were just as wrong as I thought they were because the movie was great . I was amazed at how well Baz played the difficult hand he was dealt which was to turn a very short story into a full movie that showed the best parts of the roaring twenties in a very modern way.

Inspired by all of these things Brooklyn Based Photographer Henry Hargreaves throws his hat in the health kick ring with his newest addition to his portfolio ‘burring calories’ where Henry demonstrates the only true there is to set those calories ablaze .
I can never really explain what it is that I like but I always know it when I see it and when I came across this new project by brominds I couldn’t stop thinking about how cool it is . Brominds is a studio based in Barcelona that was founded in 2006 by brothers Juan and Alejandro Mingarro . The fresh ideas are heavily inspired by childhood like dreams and activities that find a balance between optimism and humor. The Brominds new addition to the family titled the Brominds Wagon is a small beanbag covered almost go-cart like car that is powered by pedals. The crazy little cart is the bro’s featured project for ON! Handcrafted Digital Playgrounds which is taking place at the Contemporary Arts Center of Cincinnati, Ohio. Read More
